Welcome to Casa Terza, a modern guesthouse nestled in a hillside, on the edge of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, aka Zona Romantica or the Romantic Zone, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Enjoy ocean, city, and mountain views from a traditional Mexican neighborhood. Our neighborhood ambiance includes sounds like any traditional Mexican neighborhood, such as children playing, neighbors socializing, music, roosters and crickets.
We offer a swimming pool, 2 dipping pools coming soon, 3 large terraces, and 9 spacious rooms, each with a king-size bed, kitchenette, rainfall shower, and many more amenities.
Walk 5 minutes down the hill to unique restaurants and bars. From there, within just a few more minutes, you'll find a variety of activities and services, including the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, and health & wellness services.
Casa Terza is close enough to easily reach all the reasons travelers come to Puerto Vallarta and far enough to enjoy a luxurious escape.
The name is inspired by our 3 large terraces and is pronounced like tair-sah.

Immerse Yourself In Culture
I can't say enough about this lovely retreat near the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta! If you are the kind of person that likes to immerse yourself in the true culture of a city, then this is the place for you. It was so wonderful to stay here and experience the beautiful and thriving downtown Puerto Vallarta. Here you are in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and clubs. The room was modern, the bed was very comfortable, and the view of the city and ocean was amazing. And our lovely hosts could not have been more friendly. They made it feel like home. Can't wait to go back!
Excellent Location
My group spent several nights at Casa Terza. We had a great experience. The unit I stayed in was nicely appointed with everything I needed, and was stylishly decorated. I had a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and sink. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens. The building is on a hill, so I enjoyed a nice view of the city and a slice of the ocean. The public space is chic and comfortable. They have a small main pool as well as dipping pool on an upper level. The hosts were very responsive and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. They helped us plan day trips to local beaches and directed us to nightlife and restaurants. The location is within walking distance to the Zona Romatica. I took a 15-minute walk to the beach every morning for coffee. The location is just far enough off the beaten path to feel like you’re in an actual local neighborhood. We felt very safe as a group of women. Please note, the building is on a hill with a fairly steep portion. We walked it several times a day but it could be a challenge for some. I would certainly stay there on my next trip to Puerto Vallarta.
Hidden Gem in Ideal Location
Casa Terza is a true hidden gem perched on the hillside at the edge of Zona Romantica. It is proudly lesbian owned and LGBTQ+ friendly, welcoming all guests with open arms. From the moment I entered, I knew I was in for something special. Each of the nine spacious studios is thoughtfully appointed with a king size bed, cozy seating, air conditioning, ceiling fan, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and a handy kitchenette. I loved the nature inspired showers surrounded by lush green leaves; they felt like a private spa retreat. After sun soaked days at the beach, the shared pools were perfect for a refreshing dip. The guesthouse’s location is ideal, just a 15 minute stroll from beaches, restaurants, bars, nightlife and wellness services yet tucked away enough that you feel a world apart. The street itself is alive with families chatting over evening meals and friendly neighbors greeting you as you pass by, creating a welcoming, safe atmosphere. Fair warning: the walk up the hill can be steep, so take it at your own pace. Despite the incline, I will definitely be back to enjoy those ocean, city and mountain views and the warm hospitality.
